As a shamanic healer, I’ve encountered countless clients who come to me feeling drained, disconnected, or not quite themselves. They describe sensations ranging from being weighed down by an invisible force to an emotional numbness—almost as if a vital part of their being is missing.
These experiences often point to two possibilities: negative entity attachment or soul loss. While these conditions can manifest in similar ways, their underlying causes and paths to healing are distinct. Over time, I’ve learned to identify their unique signs and guide my clients in reclaiming their energy and vitality.
Negative Entity Attachment
Negative entity attachment occurs when external energies—such as low-vibrational spirits, thought forms, or lingering entities—attach themselves to a person’s energy field. These entities feed off the person’s vitality or influence their thoughts and emotions, creating imbalance.
Common Signs of Negative Entity Attachment:
A persistent feeling of being “off” or not oneself.
Emotional heaviness, mood swings, or unexplained bursts of anger, fear, or sadness.
Intrusive thoughts or urges that feel foreign, sometimes leading to addiction or risky behavior.
Disturbed sleep patterns, including nightmares, sleepwalking, a sensation of being watched, or waking up exhausted.
Many people acquire these attachments during vulnerable moments—such as after trauma, prolonged stress, or exposure to dense, heavy energies in places like hospitals, funerals, or certain social environments. Overindulgence in alcohol or drug use can also weaken the energy field, making it easier for entities to latch on.
Healing Process:The first step is to cleanse the client’s energy field. Techniques like smudging, rattling, or feather sweeping help clear the aura. Then, I connect with my helping spirits to locate and remove the attachment. Once the entity is removed, I work with the client to rebuild and strengthen their energetic boundaries, often addressing the root causes of their vulnerability.
For most clients, the shift is immediate—they feel lighter, clearer, and more present in their bodies. Some may take a few days to fully rebalance, often requiring extra rest. After about two days, nearly all clients report feeling significantly better and more energized.
Soul Loss
Soul loss occurs when a part of a person’s essence—what we call the soul—fractures and retreats as a result of trauma. This is the soul’s way of protecting itself from overwhelming pain. While some fragments may return naturally over time, others remain missing until they are intentionally retrieved.
Common Signs of Soul Loss:
A chronic sense of emptiness or numbness, as if a part of oneself is missing.
Difficulty experiencing joy, passion, or connection—even in moments where such feelings would be expected.
Feeling stuck in life or trapped in unhealthy patterns.
Memory gaps, especially around traumatic events.
Unexplained anxiety, often unrelated to specific past experiences.
Being overly empathetic or easily absorbing others’ emotions, which can indicate a weakened energetic boundary.
Soul loss almost always stems from trauma. This could include abuse, neglect, accidents, loss of a loved one, or prolonged stress. In some cases, the event may have occurred so long ago that clients can no longer consciously remember it—only the lingering sense of something being “off.”
Healing Process:Soul retrieval is a sacred and transformative practice. In this process, I journey to the spirit world to find the lost soul fragment and return it to the client. Once reintegrated, the client often feels an immediate sense of relief, lightness, or wholeness.
However, soul retrieval is not a quick fix. If the underlying causes of the soul fragment’s departure aren’t addressed, the fragment may leave again. Preparation and readiness are crucial, and healing often involves ongoing work to create a safe space for the returned part to thrive.
Overlapping Symptoms and Dual Healing
Negative entity attachment and soul loss share some overlapping symptoms, which can make them easy to confuse:
Emotional Drain: Both conditions leave individuals feeling depleted and disconnected.
Energetic Vulnerability: A weakened energy field can lead to either condition—or both simultaneously.
Shared Symptoms: Fatigue, mood swings, and a sense of incompleteness are common to both.
In some cases, clients experience both issues. For example, a traumatic event may cause soul loss, leaving the individual vulnerable to entity attachment. In such instances, I address the attachment first, followed by soul retrieval, to ensure comprehensive healing.
Reflection and Next Steps
If you’re feeling drained, lost, or unlike yourself, consider these questions:
Did your symptoms begin after a traumatic event? This may point to soul loss.
Do your emotions or thoughts feel intrusive or foreign? That could indicate an attachment.
Are both true? You might be dealing with both issues.
Healing is always possible, whether the cause is external, internal, or a combination of both.
Final Thoughts
As a shamanic healer, I’ve witnessed the profound transformations that occur when clients address these issues. Clearing a negative entity attachment can bring immediate relief, while soul retrieval restores a sense of wholeness, vitality, and purpose.
Your energy is your sacred space. Whether you’re dealing with an attachment, soul loss, or something else, seeking support and taking steps to reclaim your power is essential. Healing may not always be easy, but it’s a journey worth taking. You deserve to feel whole, connected, and fully alive.
Such great and inspiring expression of your shamanic work, thank you for sharing.
