Reality is What We Create

Our words hold immense power. Every time we speak, think, or feel something, we create our reality. We often find ourselves stepping into roles that define us—roles we accept or are given, and the more we give them power, the more they shape our lives.

In my shamanic lineage, one practice that profoundly resonates with me is the practice of invisibility. This doesn’t mean we physically disappear; it means we step outside of the roles and identities that have defined us. By doing so, we reclaim our power and shape our reality. This idea aligns with a principle in quantum physics: reality is not fixed. Instead, it’s fluid, dynamic, and influenced by our consciousness. Just as quantum particles exist in a state of infinite possibilities until observed, our lives hold endless potential, waiting to be shaped by our awareness and intention.

We define ourselves by the roles we play—parent, employee, soldier, outcast, or even the “funny one”—but these roles are not fixed. They are constructs we’ve accepted, either consciously or unconsciously. The moment we recognize and release these roles, we open ourselves to new possibilities. We stop being defined by them and begin to choose the roles we want to inhabit, whenever and wherever we choose.

In my training, we practice letting go of these roles. First, we identify the roles we’ve carried and reflect on when and how they first took hold. By tracing their origins, we can release them and step into the freedom of creating our own reality.

This isn’t just a shamanic practice—it’s something anyone can do. I invite you to reflect on the roles you’ve accepted in your life. What roles have you allowed to define you? Are you the "lonely one"? The "troublemaker"? The "hard worker"? The "stay-at-home parent"? How have these roles shaped your reality?

The power to create a new reality lies in your ability to shift these roles. You don’t have to stop being who you are, but what else would you like your life to be? This is where action comes in. We must take intentional steps to create the life we desire. Too often, we let others define our actions, which in turn shapes our reality. It’s time to take control.

Just as quantum physics teaches us that our awareness shapes the world around us, we too have the ability to consciously create the reality we want. It’s time to stop letting external forces shape your life. Take action, release the roles that no longer serve you, and step into the reality you truly desire.

The power is within you—now is the time to create it.
